I love my mac but (in my opinion) the MacOS version of SU is damn awful, the materials palette, the layer control and as mentioned above the AA, all of them horrible compared to the Windows version. The incredibly poor toolbar layout (or lack of) options. I have SU2017/Win10 running in bootcamp and it's a beast but then it should be with an i7, 16Gb and the meaty Radion R9. I know Mac's are damn expensive (this one was £2000) but I just sold my old 2008 MBP Core2Duo for £150 and the new owner couldn't be happier, 10 years old and still going like a champ. Try saying that about a 10 year old Windows box. My brother gave me his MacPro 1st gen 2006 because I wanted a quad core for rendering, still running. Show skype for business in outlook. So I've had a MBP a Mac Mini and now a used iMac. SketchUp Pro Crack is a 3D modeling computer software. It’s fully customized 3D architect tools and full of latest features. I would rather quit computing altogether if I had to go back to Windows. Everything about Mac is better except this one issue. I've just learned to live with it. How to get premium on spotify for free on mac. What I don't understand is, the videos I've seen of the SU team on a computer it's always a Mac. How do they sleep at night. I don't know about layer control but the materials palette (which may be impossible for Trimble to fix on Mac), the speed, AA, and how tool palettes and windows are (NOT) handled on the Mac make it worse. (However we don't have the problem Windows users have with 'trays'--don't even understand what that is!) In general I believe you can't get a Mac to render as fast. So it's worse--not just the AA issue. But, yes I don't want to use windows either. I also find my latest MBP to be durable, both in keeping up with OS changes, comparable power, security, and physically. Pretty much trouble free. Years ago I've also made up for some of the higher cost when Apple upgraded me to a new gen computer just because my screen crapped out and they didn't want to replace it. Just the other day as I was working away I opened a new SketchUp window to past some parts in and noticed that it had smooth crisp anti aliasing line work. It was only this window. I couldn't recreate it by opening more windows. Working on a Retina display with a 1080p monitor hooked up if I dragged the window to the secondary monitor it looked good, not like it usually does. I could drag other projects / SketchUp files into this window and they would look really good. I changed the style settings to match my other open SketchUp windows and I could see a clear difference. I kept this window open for a few days to enjoy the crisp line work before I had to restart due to an update. Hopefully this is fixed with High Sierra & SketchUp 2018. I figured out a consistent way to get anti aliasing to work on my MBP 2016 running macOS Sierra. For this to work you need the MacBook plugged into an external monitor, I have had it working on 2 different external monitors. 1 - Launch Layout and move the window to the external monitor. 2 - Right click on layout viewport to SketchUp model and select 'open with SketchUp' (SketchUp should not be running) 3 - SketchUp should launch on MacBook screen with much finer line work. Don't know why it works but is does.
